Token Page

The information Lightbeam shows for each trading token.

The token page is both the Lightbeam home page and your gateway to exploring every available trading pair. It brings together the key information about each token's performance and current market activity.

Top tokens table

The main page displays a ranked table of the most actively traded tokens on Lightbeam, ordered by 7-day trading volume. This gives you an immediate view of market activity and helps you spot trending tokens at a glance.

Individual token details

Select any token from the table, or search for a specific one, to open a detailed view with comprehensive trading information. At the top of each token's page you'll find quick action buttons to buy or sell. These take you straight to the Swap Page with your selected token pre-loaded.

Each token detail page provides four key sections of market data:

  1. Price charts — historical price data and trends
  2. Order book — current buy and sell orders
  3. Depth chart — visual market depth representation
  4. Recent swaps — live transaction history

Price charts

The price section shows the token's current price, based on the most recent successful trade. An interactive chart plots price movements over time, helping you analyse trading patterns and market trends so you can make informed decisions.

Order book

The order book lists all current buy and sell orders for the selected token. Buy orders (bids) appear in green on the left, while sell orders (asks) appear in red on the right. Each entry shows the quantity available and the price per unit.

Example order book

Sell orders (red):

  • 100 KTA at $1.35 per unit
  • 50 KTA at $1.30 per unit

Buy orders (green):

  • 75 KTA at $1.25 per unit
  • 200 KTA at $1.20 per unit

In this example there's a $0.05 spread between the lowest sell order ($1.30) and the highest buy order ($1.25). A trade occurs when someone places a market order that bridges this gap, or when new limit orders match existing ones.

Depth chart

The depth chart gives a visual representation of market liquidity by plotting the cumulative order book data. It updates in real time as new orders are placed or filled, showing you the market depth at different price levels.

For detailed guidance on reading and interpreting depth charts, see the Order Book Trading Guide.

Recent swaps

The recent swaps section shows a live feed of completed transactions for the selected token. Each entry includes essential trade information:

  • Transaction time — when the trade was executed
  • Trade size — the amount of tokens exchanged
  • Price — the execution price per unit
  • Trading pair — which tokens were swapped

This real-time data helps you understand current market activity and recent price movements.
